To Amnesty International
The Youth Village of Sharek Youth Forum in Palestine continues to face repeated violations and systematic targeting of its civic, educational, and youth spaces, including restricted access, disruption of activities, and recurring attacks by settlers and occupation forces.
Protecting the Youth Village today is not merely a local concern, but an urgent international human rights responsibility, as the village represents a safe space for education, youth empowerment, resilience, and hope under extremely difficult conditions.
We call on you to:
Urgently intervene and document violations on the ground.
Issue clear human rights statements and reports.
Exert pressure to halt the attacks and ensure freedom of access and operation.
Protect civic and youth spaces in Palestine in accordance with international law.
Supporting the Youth Village has become a top priority, as targeting civic and educational spaces constitutes a direct attack on Palestinian youth’s right to life, dignity, and future.
