About Us

Sharek Youth Forum is a local, independent, non-governmental Palestinian organization advancing youth development through youth-led programmes and community initiatives across Palestine. Guided by our strategic commitment to participation, resilience, and inclusive development, we work to ensure that young people’s voices are heard and reflected in public life—while expanding real opportunities for learning, leadership, and positive community action.

We operate across all governorates in Palestine—West Bank and Gaza—reaching children, adolescents (girls and boys), youth, women, and persons with disabilities. Our work spans key areas of youth development, including civic engagement, economic empowerment, social wellbeing, and cultural initiatives. Through our annual programmes, Sharek reaches approximately 9,000 beneficiaries each year. In addition, through emergency and crisis-response interventions, we reach around 600,000 people annually, supporting communities with timely, dignity-centered assistance.

Sharek’s strength is reinforced by a wide partnership network. We collaborate with international organizations, the public sector and ministries, the private sector, and a strong civil society partnership base through the Sharek Partners Alliance —a network of 45+ partner organizations that enables deeper community reach and decentralization in  implementation across all regions in the West Bank and Gaza. Through this approach, Sharek continues to build an empowered youth community capable of leadership, innovation, and meaningful change.
