Qutoof Al-Khair Health and Community Association – Al-Zawaida(CentralGaza Strip)

Qutoof Al-Khair Association is located in the town of Al-Zawaida in the central Gaza Strip. It hosts 60 adolescent girls as part of the GirlZone program, divided into two active learning groups. The girls participate in interactive sessions aimed at enhancing health and psychological awareness, developing leadership skills, and building positive relationships among participants. The girls’ ages range from 12 to 17 years.

The center was selected due to its experience in community-based work, its proximity to girls in the central area, and its readiness to host girls’ empowerment activities. The GirlZone room has been equipped with a creative design, bright colors, and educational materials that encourage collaboration and active participation.

All sessions are fully managed by an all-female team to ensure an atmosphere of comfort, trust, and cultural sensitivity. The center has quickly become a focal point for creativity and dialogue among girls, motivating them to develop leadership skills and actively engage in their communities.
