Watan School – Al-Mawasi, Khan Younis (Southern Gaza Strip

The Watan School center is located in Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis Governorate in the southern Gaza Strip and targets adolescent girls from the local community. The center currently serves 75 girls aged 12–17, divided into three active learning groups. Sessions focus on self-empowerment, confidence building, and the development of life and social skills.

The center was selected due to its vital role in serving girls, and the hall has been equipped with chairs and tables to provide a comfortable learning environment that encourages participation.

All sessions are managed by a qualified female team to ensure a supportive and safe environment for the girls. The center has evolved into an active space for community engagement, encouraging girls to express themselves, take initiative, and contribute positively to social change.
