Youth Leadership: Initiatives that Make a Difference

Sharek has become a nationally and internationally recognized youth platform. Youth summits have produced qualitative resolutions that amplified youth voices and conveyed their demands to decision-makers. The Forum’s reports and studies have also become professional references that support these demands with evidence, alongside cooperation with official bodies such as the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, to generate accurate and reliable knowledge that reflects the realities and needs of youth.

The Forum continues its tireless efforts to raise youth voices and address their core issues. It has organized hundreds of national and youth-led campaigns, including prominent ones such as boycotts of Israeli goods, as well as diverse initiatives that reflect youth priorities and daily contexts. Advocacy tools have ranged from petitions and protests to direct follow-ups and demands via traditional and digital media, as well as wide-reaching youth events and summits. The Forum relies heavily on direct communication with youth, leveraging new media tools and social media to expand its influence and spread messages widely.
