“Tale of Color” in Askar Refugee Camp – Nablus

In partnership between the Sharek Youth Forum and Qitar Al-Saada (Train of Happiness), and as part of the Youth Day celebrations, the “Tale of Color” initiative was launched in the Old Askar Refugee Camp in Nablus.
Through a series of inspiring art workshops, adolescents and youth participated in activities that taught them the basics of drawing, explored creative forms of self-expression, and discovered the power of colors in conveying emotions and ideas. These sessions nurtured not only artistic skills but also aesthetic appreciation and a more profound sense of creativity.
The atmosphere was filled with passion and imagination—moments that came together to paint a collective picture of hope for a brighter future. Beyond the individual artworks, the initiative itself stood as a living canvas of resilience, creativity, and possibility.
By serving thousands of children, girls, and adolescents in the camp and beyond, “Tale of Color” goes far beyond art. It serves as a reminder that creativity can be a powerful tool for healing, empowerment, and building a shared vision of a more vibrant and promising future.
