Shabab Al-Balad Program
The Palestine TV channel, in collaboration with Sharek Youth Forum, launched the youth television program Shabab Al-Balad (Youth of the Country), which aimed to shed light on key aspects of youth realities, aspirations, and hopes within the context of daily and societal issues. The program sought to create a serious dialogue between young people and other segments of society on various topics that intersect with youth concerns—such as family, officials, teachers, company managers, researchers, institutional leaders, and youth.
The program discussed youth's daily issues and provided a platform for as many young people as possible—through more than 50 televised episodes—from different governorates across Palestine to participate. It encouraged discussions on youth communication and engagement across all segments of Palestinian society, including those in the diaspora, by involving them through electronic communication tools, both audio and visual.
Shabab Al-Balad was structured around dynamic debates and interactions between youth groups, youth, and other community segments, young men and women on gender-related issues, and youth and pioneering or creative figures. Guests from various sectors were invited based on the topic of each episode, and a diverse youth audience was present to enrich the discussion.
