Partners

Program Overview

The Partners program was launched in the middle of 2005 for the institutional strengthening and capacity building of organizations and youth groups in Palestine. The main concepts of this program are: 

  • To support a number of original and creative initiatives specifically for the sectors of youth and children
  • To assist a number of original and creative youth initiatives through the provision of grants to youth groups active in their local communities.

Aims of the Program

The specific objectives of Partners are:

Ø       To involve local youth volunteers in social activities;

Ø       To create a network of active Palestinian organizations and to foster partnerships between them;

Ø       To support original social projects and youth initiatives of local organizations and youth groups;

Ø       To encourage the participation of youth in civil society and their incorporation into social and volunteer activities;

Ø       To strengthen the skills and capacities of beneficiaries and project management;

Ø       To nurture positive and constructive change in Palestinian society through youth.

Beneficiaries

·         Organizations and clubs working in the field of youth and children;

·         Youth groups consisting of 3-5 persons, male and female, aged 14-30 years.

·         Palestinian youth sector at large
