Be the Change:
Supporting Youth Initiatives
Project Overview.jpg)
The essence of the
Be the Change projects is that they are designed by, and
produced for, youth. They are the result of youth responding to
a call for proposals with their own creative and distinctive project
ideas for the benefit of themselves and their communities. With this
participatory approach, youth themselves become the catalysts for
change, since it is the youth determining their needs and how these
needs should be met through their proposed projects. Be the Change
provides financial grants to
selected youth initiatives, which are then implemented under the
supervision of Sharek staff and
volunteers..JPG)
