Al-Balad Young People Program
A Youth Program presented in cooperation between Palestine TV and Satellite and Sharek Youth Forum

Program Idea
This program aims at creating serious debate and dialogue between the young people and other society groups on different issues in which the daily issues of youth cross-cut with these groups including parents, officials, teachers, companies’ directors, researchers, organizations’ directors and the youth themselves with each other.

Program Objectives
1. To create real debate and discussion among the young people, especially non-reconciliatory debate, and seeks to demonstrate difference in perceptions … debate without courtesy through which we seek to reveal patterns of youth thinking in making their attitudes from different issues posed in the Palestinian street.
2. To discuss daily youth related issues, away from theoretical approach, including Youth and technology, youth and work, youth and creativity, youth and parents, youth and officials, youth and the other sex, youth and ambition, youth and internet, youth and culture, youth and hope, youth and social classes, youth and outer appearance, youth and vocational jobs … etc.
3. To give opportunity for young persons from the different governorates (the West Bank, Gaza, Jerusalem and inside the Green Line) to participate in the debate on youth communication concept with all components of the Palestinian people, including Palestinians in diaspora, through e-communication means in sound and sight.
4. To pose issues from angles of concern for youth and not from organizations, officials and society’s angles.
5. To pose issues discussed and spoken among young people themselves.
6. To encourage youth on achievement and entrepreneurship through success stories of young people and real successes.
7. To create communication between the youth and other society groups for discussing different issues of concern.
8. To pose behavior issues and youth attitudes toward them.

Program General Framework
The program is introduced within a face-to-face framework among different groups of young people, between young people and other society groups, between youth of both sexes, between youth and entrepreneurs, youth and creative persons and in the presence of guests from different groups according to the episode theme and a youth audience.
The program discusses issues of reconciliation, division, employment, creativity, relations between young males and females, young spouses, civil society, political parties, youth programs and rights and freedoms issues in Palestine.
