They were given a period of one week to rectify these errors; otherwise the implications on Sharek and its administration in Gaza will be enormous.

Sharek Forum received a letter from the Ministry of Youth and Sports in Gaza requesting all the administrative and financial reports, a list of inventory, copies of the seals and data of the staff and projects implemented by Sharek.

At around 10 a.m., a group of the Internal Security Apparatus members raided to Sharek’s center in Rafah and confiscated two computer sets and a printer.

At approximately 3 p.m., another group consisting of 8 members came to the same center and confiscated 20 computer sets, 3 cameras and other belongings.

At around 18:30 a third group came and summoned the center’s coordinator, confiscated the keys and closed the center.

Shaath went to the Internal Security headquarters where he was asked to sign a pledge not carrying out any incitement acts nor organizing any events that violate the public security and to abide by the Societies Law and instructions of the Interior Ministry in Gaza. They also gave some remarks concerning the nature of the Forum’s work regarding six-mixing in addition to asking him to put a control system on the computers.

Sharek received a letter from the Interior Ministry giving it a period of one month to send the assets of the financial transactions of 2007. 2008 and 2009, opening an independent bank account for Gaza branch miscellaneous and conducting an independent auditing for Gaza branch in addition to printing special vouchers for Gaza.

Three persons came to Sharek’s headquarters and asked the Forum’s director to accompany them to Ansar headquarters where they directed to him some remarks concerning sex-mixing in the Forum, nature of implemented activities and nature of volunteers and foreigners work.

Summoning staff and asking them about photos of girls and visual materials, which were displayed to them

Summoning the Forum’s director to the Institutions’ Security headquarters and asking him about a former staff of the Forum and reasons for ending their services in addition to asking him about a photo of a girl they allegedly said that they found it on his laptop, which was confiscated on 31 May 2010 and returned to him on 1 July 2010. He denied recognition of the girl. He was asked to return on 30 October.

Abiding by the appointment, the Forum’s director went to Institutions’ Security headquarters where he was asked the same questions in addition to asking him to sign a pledge to come whenever he is asked.

Summoning, via a phone call, the Forum’s director Moheeb Shaath to Institutions’ Security headquarters where they again asked him about the girl’s photo and whether he insults God inside the Forum

Summoning the board of directors and the Forum’s director in Gaza Moheeb Shaath to the Internal Security headquarters in Abu Khadra Compound. They were investigated about the existence of certain inappropriate materials found on the laptops of some employees, which were confiscated on 31 May. They were also given summons to come on the second day

The above-mentioned three persons came to the Internal Security headquarters according to the summon they received and waited until 2:00 pm. They were asked about their relation with the report issued by Skies Foundation on Gaza Forum’s situation. They were also requested to post on their Face Book website a denial about the existence of a certain party that accuses Sharek’s staff of ethical corruption. They were asked to summon on the second day.

The above-mentioned three persons came to the Internal Security headquarters according to the summon they received the day before and waited until 1:00 pm. They were re-investigated about the report issued by Skies Foundation on the situation of Gaza Sharek Forum. They were also asked about the nature of Sharek’s work and who is responsible for any materials found on the staff computers. They were asked to summon on the next day.

The above-mentioned three persons came to the Internal Security headquarters according to the summon they received and waited until 2:30 pm without having any meeting with the concerned persons. Again they were asked to come on Sunday 28 November 2010.
