Inas is a recent graduate of Medical Technology and Laboratory Sciences in Rafah. She lives in a separated family, where she plays the role of the main bread-winner of her household. At the age of 22, and after spending years as a volunteer at the various medical organizations in the Gaza Strip, Inas was able to start her own laboratory through the support of the Youth Business Support Unit and in partnership with a local Palestinian healthcare organization. Inas, hopes to continue by opening her own-private lab where she can provide affordable services to a dense population in need throughout the Gaza Strip.

Omar Ghanem, 18 years old, is a young and motivated entrepreneur from Hebron, who is talented in developing new and advanced electrical and security solutions.  Only finished with his high school, and on the verge of joining University, Omar came to the Center of Business & Employment Services with the idea of commercializing his technology, and is currently receiving business incubation services from the Center.

 

The Center provided Omar with business start-up training, seed funding to purchase some necessary materials for systems development, marketing and advertising support, and continues to provide him with business counselling services.

 

As of today, Omar has already established and sold a number of personalized systems including systems the operate doors, windows, and shutters in homes from distance through the internet, systems that control lighting insides the homes from distance, a new system that shows a picture of the person ringing on your door bell on your television screen, and others based on the needs and requests of his clients.

 

Omar has already filed for a patent at the Ministry of National Economy regarding his innovation of a new electrical circuit system.
