Playgrounds Project:
Safe Playgrounds for Children
Project Overview
Through this project, Sharek Youth Forum aims to establish safe
playground equipment in suitable environments,
especially in the marginalized and rural areas which lack such
recreational facilities. Sharek Youth Forum has established 11
playgrounds in rural areas and villages in the West Bank and the Gaza
Strip for the benefit of children in these areas so that they can spend
their spare time in a safe environment. The idea is that Palestinian
children, like other children throughout the world can play, have fun
and enjoy their childhoods.

Success indicator
There is no way to measure the exact number of beneficiaries but it is
safe to say that thousands of children now have access to recreational
facilities, giving them the opportunity to enjoy their childhoods as
children should.
